Joss High Performance Shaft Black ring

The Joss High-Performance shaft has a low-deflection package installed in the front of the shaft.

But we didn’t stop there.

The Gorget^©ferrule is an integral part of any low-deflection high-performance shaft.
The Gorget^©Joss ferrule is designed not to flex when in contact with the cue ball.

This ferrule is attached to the shaft with an expanding adhesive and threaded onto the wood.
This technique gives the most secure hit and feel of any shaft.

Our tests show that the ferrule will hinge toward the shaft, not away from it, when the cue ball is hit with English.
If the ferrule is not fastened tightly against the shaft, you will experience vibrations, which will be different each time you hit the ball. You will never be able to judge the shot accurately.
